Andrea Franco

Andrea Franco is a Peruvian-born editor and visual artist based in Los Angeles, whose work blends an intuitive sense of rhythm with a cinematic-driven eye.

Her background in filmmaking and visual arts informs an editorial approach that is fluid yet crafted with careful attention. Andrea’s editing sensibility is attuned to sound, movement, and quiet emotional cues that are rooted in her filmmaking practice.

With foundations in documentary and experimental cinema, Andrea often constructs films intuitively, allowing structure and meaning emerge through the edit. This ability to find narrative and shape within raw material translates directly into commercial collaborations, where she balances atmosphere with storytelling depth.

Andrea has edited campaigns and films for Tekla, Mango, Frederic Malle, Attersee, and Metier and her personal film work has been exhibited at the Guggenheim Museum, REDCAT, Pacific Standard Time, Flaherty Seminar, Museum of the Moving Image, BAFICI and Museo de Arte de Lima. She holds an MFA from California Institute of the Arts.
